Ok I've got LOTS to say.
First. I've found a job in pacific world through yumin and her sister. The pay is $8 (hohoho), but no ot pay. Oh that is a event management company and we get to go onsite. On i think the second day, elle (my colleague) called me to fax two papers to 1800+ numbers. Is that even possible? So all i do is programme the fax machine like everyday. So i became the faxing queen cause i don't even need to see the keypad to enter number. At first i keyed in 6 numbers at a time then i tried 10, then 20, then 50, then a few hundred and because the fax machine is like damn slow la so 1 day can only fax 200 numbers. So i tried to programme few hundred and let it run overnight. Finally finished on wed. So i fax from thursday to wednesday, that probably why i got the nick faxing queen. Ya and all the coms comes in mac so its quite difficult to adapt to it at first, but now i'm quite good at it.
Then there's Hernia which is actually 3rd International Congress of the Asia Pacific Hernia Society. Went onsite on wed to pack the bags then went back to office to fax finish first and then proceed to suntec again. Oh ya it's actually at Suntec Ballrooms. Officially worked onsite on thursday, lots and lots of doctors registered. There's japanese, koreans, germans, sweden, italian, hong kong ppl, taiwanese, chinese, indians, saudi arabian, pakistani, malaysian, french, swiss, nethelands.... too many already. Then there's this speaker name kuklater or something like that and he's so funny lo. Cause he wanted to deposit a poster and i waited a moment before i say ok then he said: theres no bomb, its circular. And that night yumin led him to the river room in ACM and he said: so i must swim to the river room? And his hair is so cute, like santa claus. And there's one that never bring his form or anything but want to pay the resident rate (which is cheaper), he came from saudi arabia and his address put U.S.A. Then one of my colleague, Julie, said: maybe is United Saudi Arabia. Its like so funny la.
Ok there's lots and lots of food there cause when those delegates don't eat finish the food, someone would bring the food to us. So me and yumin is like always eating when we are free. Ya by the way yumin is the runner, i'm the reg person, so yumin's job is to change then tent cards and my job is to give badges and bags to those doctors who come here to register. Got free lunch and dinner cause there's food republic coupons given to us like $20 per person per day. And we get to take taxi to suntec and back home and we can claim it. Are you envy? (hohoho) BUT then down side is that i have to ot for alot of days and have to work full day on saturday.
I went back to the office on friday noon to help elle with CAM first and never get to go to suntec for the rest of the congress. Anyway, CAM stands for
Conference for Aesthetic Medicine 2007, held in Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel on the 09-11 Nov. So i went to the office with elle to continue on our CAM things and i went mad. Started talking nonsense and lame things and we are like bullshitting all the way. And in the afternoon, after eeling, yumin they came back and went home, our wire totally short circuited. Supposed to meet others in Clark Quay cause eeling is treating since Hernia has finished. But me and elle totally forgot and we are like late and we ran from the office to mrt station and we are really exhausted. We meet eeling at the mrt and got on it together. Ate at Jumbo and we called 4 crabs for each table la, there's 2 table so its 8 crabs in total. The PCO crew and the av crew ate in $900+ into our stomach tonight. Thanks eeling. We went to walk walk at clark quay and some people go home first so left me, yumin and sis and eeling and i saw samantha and her friends at te central and helped her to take some pics. When we went out of the mall, saw them taking pictures again. So i helped again. And that's how the day end.
the only constant is change.
